据外媒报道，此次事故发生在马来西亚。一位男子往吉隆坡方向途中，突然，一只马来亚虎蹿了出来。男子刹车不及直接撞了上去，老虎当场被撞身亡。

当地彭亨州野生动物保护及国家公园局局长罗兹丹雅辛（音译）通过文告指出，根据体型推测，这只马来亚虎约四岁，重约130公斤。

马来亚虎是马来西亚的国兽。
